Chapter 2 of Vidia Von Greede and the Haunted House

       I walked into the kitchen with the bat in my hand,I knew this was the end if the burglar had a gun.I peeked over the side of the kitchen wall only to see my Aunt staring at a carton of broken eggs on the floor "VICKY!!!!"She yelled I stomped on the stairs so It was believable that I was upstairs and not downstairs spying on her."Yes Aunt Clara?"I said uncertainly."Honey help with these eggs I have.....to do something.."She remarked."Like what?"I asked desperate to get her mind off the broken eggs."I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING IMPORTANT,NOW QUIT BOTHERIN' ME!!"She barked as she stormed out of the room like a tsunami."Well!!"I followed her to the basement I slowly tiptoed down the ice cold stairs I gasped as I saw saws with red stains on them I saw many coffins aligned against the cement wall "well this is beyond creepy." I said to myself "Where did she go?" I wondered.Suddenly a glass bottle crashed down along with a whisper,a murmur that I could only make out as "GET OUT" I suddenly had a feeling that I had to get out of there and fast!I ran and ran, half way through the cold basement stairs someone,no,something pushed me I felt the cold hand jerk my back forward.I tripped and fell, the hard stairs scraped my knees and I ran until I could see light.I jerked the hard cement door closed and ran all the way upstairs.I have never,ever felt this scared in my life.A knock knocked at my door I knew it was Aunt but when I heard the voice I knew it was not.The voice was a meer growl and It said,"Vidia.....Vidia.......come play with the monster!"
